No, we aren't able to confirm your place with your provisional grades. We can only confirm your place with your final grades. If you are worried about meeting the terms of your offer, please get in touch with us.

Please get in touch with us if this is an issue for you. We have some degree of flexibility on most courses. 

Please speak to your School or College if you are thinking of appealing and they will guide you on the process. Last summer, whilst many universities took criticism, Swansea University was praised in the national press for our flexible and understanding approach to government U-turns surrounding Centre Assessed Grades.

We’re adopting the same flexible, fluid approach this time, after another year of disruption. So if your set of results are lower than expected, we’ll be very flexible! This means we’ll do our utmost to confirm your place on your chosen course anyway, but if not, we will do our utmost to offer you an alternative programme or a Foundation Year.

You can register your interest for clearing today! Pop your details in our online form and then all you’ll need to do is sign in on results day and upload your official results (or give us a call).

On results day itself, if you are already holding a place at another University, you can “self-release” into Clearing , however please don’t do this until you are sure that it is the right decision for you.

No, Swansea University doesn't make unconditional offers in most cases. If you have received an unconditional offer from another university, please get in touch and we can discuss your options.
