Victoria is an Associate Professor in the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law where she has worked since 1999. Her research interests lie in environmental law, specifically legal approaches to sustainable land management and natural resource management, including the significance of ideas of landscape. She is particularly interested in these issues from a local and Welsh perspective.

Career Highlights


Victoria's most recent publications have focused on sustainable land management and environmental governance in Wales as well issues related to law and landscape. Her research on environmental law and landscape is also discussed in her lecture at Edinburgh University, in 2019, as part of the Brodies’ Environmental Law Lecture series

In addition, Victoria has recently worked with Welsh Government on its response to issues related to Environmental Principles and Governance following Brexit. In 2018, she also took part in the Fellowship Scheme with Senedd Cymru, resulting in the publication of a report on the sustainable management of natural resources in Wales and UK Common Frameworks after Brexit
