Dr. Giulia Fantini is a Lecturer in Finance and Accounting in the School of Management, Accounting and Finance Department, Swansea University, United Kingdom.

She holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Management from University of Ferrara, Italy.

She holds an European PhD in Economics from the University of Ferrara, Italy, in collaboration with Cass Business School, London, United Kingdom.

In 2014-2015 she worked as Research Assistant at Centre of Excellence SAFE, House of Finance, Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany.

Since 2012 she is a Qualified Chartered Accountant and Auditor (Dottore Commercialista ed Esperto Legale) in Italy, with more than five years of working experience between Italy and Luxembourg.

Her research interests include risk management, corporate finance, corporate governance and executive compensation, small and medium-sized enterprises. Dr Giulia Fantini has been publishing her work in leading academic journal.

MN-2573 Principles of Financial Accounting

This module takes the student behind the numbers in order to develop an understanding of the concepts and theories that underpin Financial Statement Preparation and their analysis.
MN-M503 International Financial Accounting

This module will develop knowledge and skills in understanding and applying accounting standards and the conceptual framework underpinning financial statement preparation. Students will learn how to record individual transactions in line with International Financial Reporting Standards; prepare financial statements for single entities and for groups. The interpretation of ratios is covered in MN-M004.
