About
Christoforos holds a BSc in International and European Economic Studies from Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master of Arts in Social and Political Thought from the University of Warwick. He has also been awarded a PhD in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining the Centre for People and Organisation he worked as a Research Associate at Adam Smith Business School, The University of Glasgow, and as a Teaching Assistant in Sociology at the University of Edinburgh.
Christoforos’ main research interests lie in the interrelations among philosophy, sociological theory, social psychology and organisation studies. He is currently working on his project of defining socio-theoretical anti-realism as an alternative path for social ontology, by critically drawing on the traditions of critical realism, social constructionism, and pragmatism.
